Emily’s Garden Gin 700ml

This contemporary gin is named after the ghost of a little girl who haunts the grounds at the Waikino Hotel. Emily was but six years old when she fell into the Ohinemuri river and sadly passed away shortly afterwards. Her passing is thought to be the source of Agatha’s Tears.   

With the exception of the Juniper, Emily’s Garden Gin is crafted entirely from botanicals foraged or grown in the hotels grounds resulting in a unique and refreshing gin that is infused with garden herbs, kaffir lime, horopito and remu fronds. The combination of these ingredients creates a harmonious blend of flavors, with the herbal notes of the garden herbs perfectly complementing the bright and zesty taste of kaffir lime, while the remu fronds add a subtle touch of earthiness. The result is a gin that is perfect for those who appreciate a fresh and herbaceous twist on their classic gin.

• Nose :  Clean with pronounced intensity, Herbal and earthy
• Palate :  Dry with a warm texture and pronounced flavour intensity, fronted with Sage, Basil and Kaffir Lime
• Finish :   Long complex finish.
